2022 Holiday Featured Drinks
For 2022, the holiday drinks launched on Tuesday, November 1.
The featured drinks for the holidays are the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, Sugar N Spice Oat Milk Latte, Candy Cane Flavor Profile, and the Holly Jolly Rebel.
“We want everyone to feel at home for the holidays at Dutch Bros,” said Kristin Sha, senior director of product management at Dutch Bros. “That’s why we always bring back our customers’ favorites like the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha with the option to try something new! The Sugar N Spice Oat Milk Latte is a new flavor that also feels a little familiar, like a taste of the holidays. Add in the Holly Jolly Rebel for our energy loving, non coffee drinkers and you’re ready to partake in all the festivities!”
No, the popular Peppermint Bliss is not technically returning for 2022. But, since it’s a combo of white chocolate and peppermint syrup, and Dutch has both of those flavors, you can still ask for it.
While not an official featured drink, Dutch Bros is also promoting the Salted Caramel Breve and Salted Caramel Dutch Cocoa with their November promotions at their stands.
Sugar N Spice Oat Milk Latte

The Sugar N Spice Oat Milk Latte is new for 2022, and Dutch Bros describes it as featuring, “a winter spice flavor, espresso, oat milk and is dusted with cinnamon sprinks. Winter spice has cozy notes of brown sugar, cinnamon and cardamom. Try this new favorite hot or iced!”
The “winter spice” flavor comes from a Torani syrup. Currently, this syrup isn’t listed anywhere else so it may be exclusive to Dutch Bros, or it’s a new syrup from Torani that will be coming soon.
Review: Sugar N Spice Oat Milk Latte. I went to Dutch Bros and tried out their new holiday drink, and got a medium (16 oz), hot Sugar N Spice Latte.
Overall, yes, I like this drink and it’s a great addition to the holiday menu. It has a gingerbread feel to it, but without that extra ginger kick, and combines well with the oat milk for a smooth flavor. It does taste like the holidays. It reminds me of Peet’s Coffee’s popular Holiday Spice Latte.
I think the name can be misleading as I don’t get a “sugar” sort of taste from it, it’s just a subtle warm sweetness. If you want a more sugary taste, you can ask for additional syrup or try it with caramel drizzle.
Hazelnut Truffle Mocha

Review coming soon! I’ll stop by Dutch Bros asap and try this new drink out and leave a review for all of you!
Of this returning holiday drink, Dutch Bros says the Hazelnut Truffle Mocha, “features Dutch Bros’ signature chocolate milk with hazelnut, espresso and topped with Soft Top and caramel drizzle. It can be ordered hot, iced or blended.”
Want to make it at home? Get chocolate milk, whipped cream in place of the soft top, hazelnut syrup and caramel sauce.
Holly Jolly Rebel

This Holly Jolly Rebel is full of holiday cheer and is described as featuring “a mix of pomegranate and vanilla within Dutch Bros’ exclusive energy drink, Rebel, all topped with Soft Top and green sprinks. It’s served either iced or blended.”
Want to make this rebel at home? Get the syrups: pomegranate syrup and vanilla syrup.
Candy Cane Flavor Profile
With the return of peppermint syrup (in regular and sugar-free), Dutch Bros is featuring the Candy Cane flavor profile which is a combo of chocolate and peppermint. It’s topped with soft top and peppermint sprinks. You can order it as a mocha, freeze, cold brew or hot cocoa.
2022 Holiday Cup Design

We do now officially know what Dutch Bros holiday cups will look like.
Dutch Bros says, “This year’s Dutch Bros holiday cup designs take everything to love about classic holiday decor with an edgy twist. Dutch Bros is vibin’ in a winter wonderland with classic red, green and gold but never basic incorporating fun taglines.”
“Dutch Bros’ holiday cups are nostalgic and take our new and classic holiday menu to the next level,” said Justin Woolf, creative director at Dutch Bros Coffee. “It really is a radical life and we’re stoked these cups bring a little extra cheer to our customer’s holiday season!”
Every cup has the same tagline of “Decking halls since 1992,” and then each design also includes a different saying. The sayings are:
- “Happy Holidays”
- “Vibin’ in a Winter Wonderland”
- “It’s a Radical Life”
- “It’s the Most Excellent Time of the Year”
Even the kid’s cups for not-so-hots and smoothies have a festive design.
Sticker availability
For November, Dutch Bros will have a sticker drop the first Wednesday of the month, November 2nd.
But, they have announced that for December they will have stickers for the first three Wednesdays! So be sure to stop by on December 14th and 21st as well as December 7th for a sticker!
Flavor combos to try for the holidays
Dutch Bros operates on the premise of flavor combos and these are my favorites for November and December. These can be ordered hot, iced, or blended.
With espresso
The flavors below are best paired with espresso and ordered as a breve or latte. You can have this hot, iced, or blended.
- The Annihilator is a fan favorite year-round but the chocolate macadamia nut flavor seems perfect for the holiday season.
- The Almond Bar features white chocolate sauce & almond syrup and is a tasty treat for any winter day.
- The Molten lava is a delicious holiday drink featuring cinnamon & dark chocolate.
- Tasting like a classic Christmas cookie, the Snickerdoodle features cinnamon, chocolate macadamia nut, white chocolate, and cinnamon sprinkles is filled with festiveness.
With rebels, sodas, and frosts
These flavor pairings work best with coffee-free drinks. They will help you celebrate the festiveness of the season.
- The Ninja is featured year-round but with Creme de menthe and white chocolate, it’s great for the holidays too.
- The Palm Tree features pomegranate, passion fruit, and lime and can be a bright spot in the winter months.
- The Starry Night features blue raspberry and blackberry and will remind you of those crisp, clear winter nights.
With teas
The colder months and tea go together perfectly. These teas can be ordered hot, iced, or blended.
- A Christmas Morning Chai, which is chai and white mocha.
- Cinnamon spice tea.
- Paris black tea.
