With the start of a new year, Starbucks always features drinks that work well in the colder winter months. For 2024, Starbucks again features pistachio and introduces a new twist on a shaken espresso drink. The winter 2024 drinks launch on Tuesday, January 2.

Even though the holidays will be ending, we have something to look forward to with the Starbucks drinks launching for winter 2024. According to Markie Devo, the seasonal drinks and food will be available on Tuesday, January 2.
This is good news for me, as it’s also the first day my kids are back to school. One of my kids is already very excited about the red cake pop returning. He loves the red ones!
Here is what’s coming in January.
- Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso (new)
- Pistachio Latte
- Pistachio Cream Cold Brew
- Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes
- Vanilla Bean Custard Danish
- Chicken, Maple Butter & Egg Sandwich
- Valentine Cake Pop
Last year Starbucks said, “Pistachio is the perfect flavor to follow the holidays and carry us through the winter season,” said Rosalyn Batingan on the Starbucks beverage team. “Its smooth and sweet profile delivers a feeling of warmth and coziness, even when served cold.”
I do actually enjoy the pistachio-flavored drinks more than I thought I would, so I’m happy for their return. The featured drinks are the latte and cold brew, but you can add the syrup to anything other drink including a frappucino.
If you want to make these pistachio drinks at home, I suggest ordering this pistachio syrup from Monin. And don’t forget to sign up for my community where share at-home recipes every month.
Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
While the Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is a new featured drink, it’s something that has already been available to order. The drink uses blonde espresso which combines with notes of roasted hazelnut and oat milk. I’m excited for this as hazelnut is my favorite syrup to add to drinks, and I already love their shaken espressos. I’m not excited that the price will likely increase now that it’s featured.
