Dutch Bros fall 2022 featured drinks

Dutch Bros always features fun and fabulous seasonal drinks during the fall, and 2022 is no exception. For this fall they are again offering the Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée and have introduced a new drink, the Sweater Weather Chai.

Dutch Bros launched their fall drinks on Thursday, September 1 for 2022. This is two days after Starbucks launched its fall lineup, including the pumpkin spice latte.

“We’re so excited to bring back Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée and introduce a new drink, the Sweater Weather Chai! This unique drink features white coffee which has a nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with Chai and is also higher in caffeine than our regular coffee. Both drinks are ideal to keep you ready for any and all fall activities!”

These drinks will be featured through the end of October.

The Cinnamon Swirl Oat Milk Latte was their featured drink last year, but it’s not returning in 2022. But, you can still order a similar drink by adding cinnamon and vanilla to a breve, freeze, or iced drink.

(Idea: Order Dutch Bros coffee beans to brew at home!)

Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée

The Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée is returning for fall. It “features pumpkin and salted caramel flavors topped with pumpkin drizzle, raw sugar sprinks and Dutch Bros’ signature Soft Top. It can be ordered as a Cold Brew, Breve or Freeze (a blended coffee drink).”

Sweater Weather Chai

And new for 2022 is the Sweater Weather Chai. This drink “features white coffee and white chocolate topped with Soft Top and cinnamon and nutmeg sprinks. It can be ordered hot or iced.”

This is basically an amped-up dirty chai. Be aware if you order this that it has a ton of caffeine. The chai is caffeinated AND the white coffee has more caffeine than normal espresso.

Review: I’ve now tried the Sweater Weather Chai twice and it’s my current go-to drink at Dutch Bros. (Well, if I have the extra money to pay for it!) Compared to pumpkin drinks, this chai feels a bit warmer and goes down a bit smoother.

I was worried because of the coffee in addition to chai, but I really didn’t get much of a coffee flavor and it all blended together very nicely. I would definitely recommend this drink, especially if you already like chai.

Flavor combos to try for fall

Dutch Bros operates on the premise of flavor combos and these are my favorites for fall. These can be ordered hot, iced, or blended.

With espresso

The flavors below are best paired with espresso and ordered as a breve or latte. You can have this hot, iced, or blended.

  • The Golden Eagle is great any time of year but especially in the fall. It includes vanilla, and caramel sauce and is topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
  • The Flap Jack features salted caramel, white chocolate, and vanilla.
  • The Molten Lava features cinnamon & dark chocolate.
  • The Snickerdoodle has a delicious combo of cinnamon, chocolate macadamia nut, white chocolate, and cinnamon sprinkles.
  • The Trifecta mixes caramel, white chocolate, and dark chocolate.

With rebels, sodas, and frosts

These flavor pairings work best with coffee-free drinks. They will help you celebrate the deliciousness of autumn.

  • The Astronaut features blackberry, raspberry, and almond.
  • The Ninja mixes creme de menthe & white chocolate.
  • The Gem berry combines blackberry, raspberry, and vanilla.

With smoothies

A delicious way to enjoy fall flavors is in a fruit-based smoothie.

  • Green apple smoothie with caramel syrup or sauce (or try it with salted caramel syrup!)
  • Green apple smoothie with cinnamon syrup
  • Peach smoothie with cinnamon syrup

With teas

The autumn months and tea go together perfectly. These teas can be ordered hot, iced, or blended.

  • The white chocolate chai latte. (My personal go-to!)
  • A dirty chai, which is chai with espresso shots.
  • Cinnamon spice tea.
  • Paris black tea.
